This weekend I had the pleasure of being a ‘recipe tester’ for Paola of Italy on my Mind for her upcoming cookbook on Italian street food and bar food. Paola is Italoaustraliana, living in Melbourne and her roots are in the Veneto and Istria. She runs cooking classes in Melbourne. In September she will be a guest instructor at the Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School in Sicilia. Paola was also a contestant on Masterchef Australia!
These cheese-filled Fiadoni were squisito and I will definitely be making them again soon. I’m not able to share the recipe here-we’ll have to wait for Paola’s book! Ciao, Cristina
Looks yummy especially on my favorite plate 👍
Grazie Teri. Next time I make them you will have to come over and have some on your fav plate!
Never had these, but they look amazing.
I hadn’t heard of them either Frank, but my Mamma tells me that our Abruzzese neighbors while I was growing up used to make them. Theirs were like a long thin calzone that would then be cut into pieces. I’ll definitely make these again as they were yummy!
Looks so divine! Too bad I am on a big diet…..no fun food for a while 😦
Che peccata Diana! you can have some when the diet is over! Maybe a road trip to Pescara?
Hmmmm…it is difficult to wait! They look delicious:)
